In 2020, work began on the reconstruction of the road connecting the settlement of Bobovišća na moru with the state road towards Milna and Supetar. The length of the road is 621 meters. The total estimated value of the investment is 1,300,000.00 kuna.
The works are divided into two phases:
The first phase During the works, the road was widened from 4 to 5.5 meters wide, a new asphalt surface and curbs were laid from the junction with the state road to the Ložišća bypass above the Korito tunnel. The planned works in this phase have been completed, and 380,000.00 kunas were spent. The Split-Dalmatia County co-financed the works with the amount of 120,000.00 kunas.
Second phase works envisages the raising of part of the route, in order to enable the laying of the main pipeline under the road, the laying of a new asphalt curtain, the construction of a retaining wall and the widening of the crossing at the very entrance to the village of Bobovišća na moru. Funds for the implementation of this phase are foreseen in the budget for 2021 and the Program for the construction of municipal infrastructure of the Municipality of Milna in 2021.
