The hardworking hands of stonemasons are cladding the newly constructed Center building with stone, and the installations and interior are being arranged inside the building. As this is a type of work that does not produce noise, it will be done all summer in order to complete the entire project within the contracted deadline of December 31, 2023.
Financial part:
- Of the total contracted amount of 352,390.45 euros, as of June, according to the provisional situations, 63% of works were carried out in the amount of 220,117.18 €, and all of them were paid to the contractor Marconi inženjering doo within the deadline from the municipal budget.
- The Aktiva Entrepreneurial Center was paid an amount of €9,290.60 for the costs of implementing the project.
- The company Ronin doo was paid €20,173.86 for construction supervision costs.
- The amount of €14,334.06 was paid to the company TU I TAMO doo for design supervision.
- In addition to the above-mentioned costs, all other costs for project development services, preparation and implementation of the project for application to EU funds and implementation of public tenders were paid in the total amount of €30,219.00.
So, to date, a total of 294,134.70 euros/2,216,157.90 kuna has been spent from the budget of the Milna Municipality for the realization of the Milna Maritime History Center project.
This is a project financed from EU funds through the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Directorate, which on April 12, 2022, adopted a Decision on the allocation of funds to the Municipality of Milna, accepting almost all costs in the total amount of 3,786,000.00 kuna/502,488.56 euros. Therefore, we would like to emphasize the fact that despite the fact that it was not foreseen before financing, the Municipality has successfully and without borrowing a single kuna managed to settle all previous bills for all previously mentioned participants in the implementation of this project.
A public tender for the interior and exterior furnishing of the Milna Maritime History Interpretation Center is currently underway.
