It is an honor for me to be the Mayor of the Municipality of Milna, but it is, of course, also an obligation!
For years, we have been trying to make life more pleasant, beautiful, and safe for all of us who live here and those who visit us. We have many completed projects behind us, and new challenges ahead of us.
One of the biggest is to preserve the natural beauty of our coast, protect it from devastation and illegal construction, and preserve the clean sea that is the source of life on the island, especially in Milna, whose inhabitants have always lived by the sea and from the sea as fishermen, sailors, and shipbuilders.
Ensuring the energy independence of the island of Brač from natural energy sources – sun, wind and sea – is our obligation, which is why we have joined the Green Brač project with other municipalities on the island.
Milna has been recognized as a "safe harbor" by those who appreciate the authenticity and beauty of natural bays, and our goal is to position it as a desirable destination that, in addition to natural beauty, also offers tourist products, especially those of indigenous value and rich content.
The municipality is made up of all its residents, so I invite you to get involved in the development of our municipality.
