By July 29, 2023, the contractor Marconi inženjering doo had completed 75% of work under the Contract for the construction of the coastal wall and the expansion of the "Racić" coast.
Financial part:
– Of the contracted amount of 14,005,279.44 kuna (1,858,820.00 euros), 10,500,000.00 kuna (1,400,000.00 euros) have been completed, of which the Municipality of Milna paid its obligation of 1,000,000 kuna from its own budget, and the remaining amount was paid by the Port Authority of Split-Dalmatia County, for which the Municipality of Milna would like to especially thank the County Prefect Blaženko Boban and the Director of the Port Authority of Split-Dalmatia County, Domagoj Marojević.
Dynamic plan:
- From the perspective of the dynamic implementation plan, it is absolutely certain that the works will be carried out in accordance with the completion plan by the end of this year.
- At this point, the entire 420-meter-long coastal wall has been built, which was the most demanding part of the project.
- During the tourist season, the installation of old stone covers or covers will be completed, as will the installation of stone slabs on the sea side of the coast.
- After the summer, the final works will follow. Water supply and electrical installations for the planned lockers, construction of a promenade along the entire coast, green areas with new public lighting, a new asphalt pavement for the two-way road, and construction of a parking lot along its entire length.
