CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVIDING REGULAR PUBLIC MARITIME TRANSPORT ON THE LINE SPLIT – SUTIVAN – MILNA AND VICE BY HIGH-SPEED PASSENGER VESSEL OR PASSENGER SHIP

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EEC) No. 3577/92 and the Judgment of the General Court of March 1, 2017, SNCM v. European Commission (Case T-454/13 EU:T:2017:134, p.130), the Municipality of Sutivan and the Municipality of Milna conduct a market analysis from the point of view of supply, and with which analysis must the current and potential supply be determined without state intervention, and for which purpose publish the next public


  CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

FOR THE PROVISION OF REGULAR PUBLIC MARITIME TRANSPORT ON THE LINE SPLIT – SUTIVAN – MILNA AND VICE BY HIGH-SPEED PASSENGER VESSEL OR PASSENGER SHIP

  1. Legal entities and natural persons registered for the performance of maritime passenger transport activities/shipowners or companies that, as legal entities, have assumed responsibility for managing the ship from the ship owner and that, by assuming such responsibility, have assumed the powers and responsibilities in accordance with the International Safety Management Code, are invited to express their interest in performing regular public maritime transport:
  2. between the Split City Port and the ports of Sutivan and Milna on the island of Brač;
  3. by a high-speed passenger vessel or a passenger ship capable of sailing according to the Maritime Code ("Official Gazette", No. 181/04, 76/07, 146/08, 61/11, 56/13, 26/15 and 17/19) with a minimum capacity of 250 passengers;
  4. provided that it has a replacement ship available with a possible deviation of up to 10% capacity;
  5. Due to the specifics of the port infrastructure in Sutivan, the vessel can be up to 35 m in length overall, with a maximum width of 7.7 m; the boarding ramp should be located in the middle of the ship;
  6. the ship's crew, which must meet the conditions prescribed by the Ordinance on the conditions for performing maritime cabotage in the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette 109/19).
  7. frequencies:
    1. 2 round trips per week in the off-season,
    1. 13 round trips per week in low season
    1. 13 round trips per week in high season;
  8. maximum service charge for the route

  1. Economic entities interested in performing the transport referred to in point I are invited to submit a letter of intent stating the conditions under which they are interested in performing the transport referred to in point I to the address nacelnik@sutivan.hr within 15 days from the date of publication of this Call on the official websites of the Municipality of Sutivan and the Municipality of Milna.
