We hereby inform you that the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds published the following public calls on its official website on March 5, 2026:
- Public call for applications for projects to encourage the development of civil society on the islands in 2026.
The aim of this public call is to create a favorable environment for the development of civil society on the islands by strengthening the role and capacity of civil society organizations and supporting their networking.
Eligible applicants are: civil society organizations that are headquartered and operate on the island, and were established in accordance with special regulations governing the establishment and operation of civil society organizations. - Public call for grants to island economic entities for the costs of transporting water by water carrier vessel and/or tanker truck for 2026.
The aim of this public call is to improve the business conditions of island economies in island settlements or parts of island settlements that are not connected to the public water supply system by financing up to 100% of water transportation costs.
Eligible applicants are: island economic entities that carry out economic activities in island settlements or parts of island settlements that are not connected to the public water supply system. - Public call for the allocation of non-refundable financial resources for the implementation of promotional activities of the "Croatian Island Product" Program.
The aim of this public call is to increase the visibility and recognition of holders and products with the HOP label, as well as the HOP Program itself, by encouraging the organization of promotional events and other projects that strengthen the visibility of the HOP label.
Eligible applicants are local and regional self-government units and public institutions, as well as associations, federations of associations, cooperative federations and tourist boards, which do not carry out economic activities.
