In accordance with Article 289, paragraph 3 of the Social Welfare Act (Official Gazette, No. 18/22, 46/22, 119/22 and 71/23), the part of housing costs related to heating costs for beneficiaries of the guaranteed minimum benefit, single individuals or households, who heat with wood, is provided from the state budget.

In accordance with point V of the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia on the criteria and benchmarks for financing housing costs and the amount of funds for each local government unit for 2023 ("Official Gazette", No. 5/23), the benchmark for financing housing costs related to the costs of heating for users who heat with wood is the amount of EUR 155.29 per user for the costs of heating for users of the guaranteed minimum compensation who heat with wood.

Therefore, All users of the guaranteed minimum fee who heat with wood are invited yes until the end of the day January 12, 2024, in the Municipality of Milna, Sridnja kala 1, 21405 Milna, submit a written request for assistance to cover heating costs, which can be downloaded from the official website of the Municipality of Milna www.opcinamilna.hr  or in the Milna Municipality building, Sridnja kala 1, every working day from 09:00 to 13:00.

The following must be attached to the request:

– copy of ID card

– decision on the realization of the right to guaranteed minimum compensation (or appropriate confirmation) from the Croatian Institute for Social Work
