During the first nine months of this year, 739,663 overnight stays were recorded on Brač, which represents almost 45 percent compared to the same period last year.
The coronavirus, as in other Adriatic tourist areas, first prevented the arrival of new guests, and then dispersed the existing ones, and in this case there were exactly 103,193 of them.
A pleasant tourist surprise this summer is Milna, a central town on the western side of Brač, which ranked right behind Supetar and Bol in terms of the number of overnight stays, and "leaped" Postira and Sutivan. Milna recorded almost 77 thousand overnight stays, or 50 percent compared to the first nine months of 2019.
The most overnight stays were made by domestic guests, followed by Germans and Poles. Tourists stayed in the Brač resort for an average of seven and a half days.
