The Institute of Public Finance awarded the Municipality of Milna the highest rating, excellent, for budget transparency. We received recognition for the transparency of spending budget funds for all five key budget documents that were published on our Municipality's website in a timely manner. Transparency includes publishing accurate and timely information on the spending of budget funds, i.e. public money that is earned from various sources.

On July 5, 2023, the Institute of Public Finance published the results of a survey of budget transparency of all 576 Croatian regional and local units for the period November 2022 - April 2023.
