The city of Vrgorac invites you to the festival of myths and legends, which will be held on September 16th and 17th, 2022.
“Mountain”
The entire area of the city park in Vrgorac is transformed into a medieval settlement, full of tents, towers, siege engines, camps and costumed residents, as well as medieval carousels for small children. The biggest attraction will certainly be the knights coming from Jankovac, the knights of Ružica Grad. On both days of the event, they will guide people through the life of knights, presenting the construction of a knight's camp, presenting weapons, and the battle itself. They will also treat visitors to their own performance of Ružica the Queen.
Of course, there is also the inevitable musical background, as well as a rich gastronomic offer based on old recipes. On Friday, the iconic Istrian ethno group Veja will perform, which will certainly enchant all visitors with its magical Istrian musical tones. On Saturday, September 17, Nina Kraljić, a famous ethno singer, will perform, who will certainly enchant people with her vocal qualities.
