Milna is the fifth largest municipality (out of seven) on the island of Bra\u010d; it is located in the extreme southwestern part of the island. It covers 36.43 km2 of land area, which is 9.18 % of the total area of the island of Bra\u010d. According to the 2011 census, the Municipality had 1,074 inhabitants in three settlements (Milna, Lo\u017ei\u0161\u0107a and Bobovi\u0161\u0107a). The settlements of Milna and Bobovi\u0161\u0107e na Moru are coastal, oriented towards the Split Strait. Bobovi\u0161\u0107a and Lo\u017ei\u0161\u0107a are located in the northern part of the Municipality, deeper inland on the island. They are well connected to the rest of the island of Bra\u010d by the state road D-114 and the county road \u017d-6188.
